Comment: Has a horrible experience here. Our food took an hour to come and once it did my date's fish was completely raw and mine was covered in cheese, which I had asked to not have due to dietary restrictions. After the waiter took the meal he brought it back to me and told me that they had taken off the whole top layer of pasta and put new pasta in-completely unacceptable. The manager tried to tell me I was wrong and the chef also yelled at me from the kitchen so we left without eating.

Comment: I loved the food at this restuarant. I had heard many good reviews, but was worried about taking my 3 year old there. I shouldn't have worried. Everyone on the staff is extremely family friendly, we felt so welcome. I would highly recommend Briejo and plan to go again soon!

Comment: My friend and I really enjoyed this very cozy place. The food and wine we had was very good. The atmosphere and decor was very chic. Loved the old movies playing at the bar (we saw Casablanca) instead of sports games! Got to meet both of the owners who were very interested in our opinions and suggestions. Will recommend this place to family and friends!

Comment: Very pleasant place with a good "loud" music. Exellent food, little pricey, but you can expect that. Nice selection of wine and big disappointment of service (just to pushy and to much opinioned it). Over all this is a nice place and good refreshment to Harrison St. I will be back when ever I meet my colleges for dinner from west suburbs.

Comment: I was fortunate enough to place the winning bid for a tasting for 9. Of the many foods which graced our table, all of which were delicious, I remember with particular fondness the crabcake and fried artichoke appetizers, the melt-in-your mouth lamb chops with sweet potato puree, the ever-scrumptious seared scallops with sauteed bacon and leaks, the tiramisu, and my alltime favorite - goat cheese cheesecake. The wine pairings were right on the mark, and the service was upbeat and solicitous.

Comment: We recently ate at Brejo and we were truly happy with our dinner, I was saddened that it was dead on a Saturday night at 7pm. I told all of my friends and family members about how good it was already and will go back over and over. Try the short ribs they are well worth the price!

Comment: This is the restaurant that I take friends and family to for a great meal within walking distance of where I live. The walk down Harrison St. is fascinating and the reward is a wonderful dinner. The scallops are especially luscious, almost equaling the crab cakes. I've had the duck and the pork and recommend them highly. This is a wonderful addition to the arts district!
